Hi all, I'm trying to make a map from scratch. I designed the land and placed the Drop Location instance to select where I want the player to start from. There is only 1 NPC and a few buildings on the map. I just wanted to test the layout of the map with no items or npcs on it. What happens is this. I have my HAT up for testing and then I load the server. The server loads up then says it successfully loaded the map, but at that point it seems the server window is frozen. It does not respond and just sits there. If I try to access the server from my other machine, I get nothing. Now, I've tried some of the older maps like WSDesert which is a 240x240 map and that works fine. Actually any map other than the ones I'm trying to make work fine. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I hope I can get this resolved as I had some cool ideas for some maps.

well I don't know much about setting up a hat but another way of testing your map is to choose Multiplayer en then go to TCP/IP game and then Create game
|

Do what I do..Get reallly mad, delete all RoM2 files on your hard drive, then try again in a few months.

In e-mails, PS stands for pre-signatorum. You put it before the signature so that the recipient will see it, rather than it being off screen unless he scrolls down.
Otherwise (meaning letters written on paper), it stands for "Post Scriptum", which is obviousley Latin. It's usually put below signatures to indicate an afterthought.
Something like that anyway.

Ohh, poor Draugr... You guys are terrible! DK, you too! (lol) Don't know why I reply this only NOW, but... well, Draugr might return here and read.
Everyone forgot to mention the easiest of the solutions:
<< Check that the number of "Rec. Players" for your Map is set to a value higher than "1" (press CTRL+SHIFT+G to open the window). It must be set to "2" at least, or else the map won't be recognized as a Multiplayer/Hat Map and won't even load in the Map Server, causing the Map Server itself to horribly freeze all of a sudden. >>
